Chapter 22 - A Temporary Contract
"Well now that everyone's here," Viscount Druitt spoke up, "You guys remember this?" He pulled out a blue lobster hat, "I feel like this is the right occasion for this."
Eisheth giggled, "That is adorable!!"
Rin bounced in place, "I want one!"
"Hey Druitt," Ciel called.
"Yes?" Viscount Druitt removed his hat.
"You remember that little girl in the pink dress a few years ago... You know... the one you put in the cage," Ciel smirked.
"I do... why?"
"Yea, that was me."
"Oh... Really? I could have sworn that was an actual girl." Viscount Druitt seemed confused.
"Oh yes I know. My mom hated me so... I became a transgender." Ciel sighed.
Viscount grinned at Ciel, "Well, Robin you're still kind of pretty."
Ciel flared up, "DON'T CALL ME THAT!!"
"Now don't get all hurt over that. Rin, Eisheth, and Zatsune have you beat anyway," Viscount Druitt laughed.
Ciel stared at them, "..."
Zatsune stepped forward, "Okay then... Well Sebastian, what do you do for a living?"
"I'm a demon, my dear," he smiled. "I make a contract with humans for anything they could imagine in exchange for their soul."
Ciel spoke up, "I'm his latest client. That's why I wear this eye patch," He removed it for a second, "You see, people aren't real fans of the whole demon thing so I keep it quite a secret."
"That's so cool!" Zatsune was left in awe, "I want one!"
Hannah stepped over and laid a hand on her shoulder, "It's not as great as it seems. Here I'll let you have this red contact with my symbol on it."
Zatsune sighed, "Good enough I guess." She fit it on her iris, "How does it look guys?"
Ciel smirked, "Pretty convincing."
Claude seemed to appear from the shadows, "Eisheth, you can have mine if you want."
"Really?" Eisheth laughed, "Hell yea. Now we can match--"
"No, no, NO!" Alois yelled, "She has to have it on her tongue like me!"
Claude looked confused, "Why?"
Alois hooked arms with Eisheth, "We are besties, and her eyes are way too pretty for it, like mine." He batted his eyelashed for a few seconds.
"Ooo, good idea, Alois," Eisheth stuck out her tongue.
"Whatever," Claude pulled out a tongue tattoo and applied it to Eisheth. "There you go."
Eisheth exploded from joy, "Yay!!"
"Hmm, I'll be right back. Stay here!" Alois ran off.
"Where's he going," Zatsune whispered to Miku.
"I'd like to know the same thing."
There was a quiet giggle dancing around the room. Everyone looked around in confusion. A strange voice whispered behind Miku, "I would like to know that, too."
She froze.
Sebastian spoke sternly, "Undertaker please refrain from frightening the guests."
A familiar black hat rose from behind Miku, "Oh, but the reaction is just hilarious," he creaked. "Hello everyone, I don't think we've met before. I'm known as the Undertaker."
Eisheth approached him for a quick examination. She took a whiff of the air around him, "Why do you smell so strongly of salt?"
"I was just taking inventory," he laughed loudly.
"... of salt?" Eisheth seemed confused.
Zatsune turned to him, "Exotic salts?"
Undertaker grinned, "Precisely."
"Okay then... uhh..." Eisheth turned to Ciel, "Where's the bathroom?"
"Down the hall, third door on the left."
"Thanks," she called as she started running.
Ciel watched her leave, "Sebastian, is it just me, or does that dress look too tight on her?"
The demon answered, "It was tight to begin with, my lord."
Ciel sighed, "No, I mean even more tight then it was three or four hours ago."
Damion walked over to Ciel, "Yeah, I think so." He gazed to the hallway where Eisheth was, "She also seems really sick... and I didn't think demons got sick... like ever."
Claude joined the group, "He's right..."
There was a long silence. Hannah tried to end it quickly, "Well, the day is nearly over, let's get this parted started!"
Alois came running down the stairs, "I'm back guys, I HEARD PARTY!!"
Viscount Druitt smiled, "Now I can wear my perfect hat for this occasion." He placed the lobster back on his head.
"TO CIEL'S ROOM" Grell yelled from the distance.
Claude stumbled back, "Wow, I didn't know you were still here."
Sebastian smirked over his shoulder at Grell's voice, "I just ignored you."
Grell drooped his head and walked past the group, "That's just hurtful..."
The two demons chuckled.
Eisheth giggled, "That is adorable!!"
Rin bounced in place, "I want one!"
